Bead Embroidery Postcard Kit "Easter – 5"

Easter – 5 is built around a large red egg with a chick popping out of the top and pink flowers spilling below. The colours are saturated, almost poster-like.

What the picture shows

The egg fills nearly the whole height and stays as print: a smooth red-terracotta surface with soft highlights. Only its outline is beaded — a red row along the top, lilac and white below — so the shape reads sharply. A yellow chick appears through the cracked crown, with pointed green leaves in strong green beads standing up around it. Large pink flowers are worked in the lower corners: petals in two shades of pink, paler centres, dark green leaves between them. The pale green and cream background is printed as well. The eight colours are used sparingly — greens, pinks, red and a little white.

At 84×140 mm the piece still reads from across the room thanks to those big blocks of colour. The presentation in the photograph is not included; a mount or frame is chosen separately. The difficulty is simple and the shapes are large, so a teenager can manage it too.
