Congratulations – 5 shows a white cat in a purple bow tie holding a bunch of red flowers, with a grey mouse perched on his shoulder. Two friends arriving with greetings.

What the picture shows

The bow tie at the cat's neck is worked in purple and lilac beads — the darkest and most prominent patch in the piece. The bouquet in his paws is built from small red florets with white centres on green stems. A branch of large green leaves lies across the top of the frame, each leaf outlined bead by bead in green. Grass of long green beads, red flowers and white daisies fill the bottom. A small watering can wrapped in gold beads stands to the right. The cat, the mouse, the blue sky and the green hill stay as print: the beads go to details rather than solid coverage. Nine colours.
