Description

Best doctor – 1 shows a smiling doctor in a white coat with a stethoscope, glasses on the end of his nose and a shock of white hair.

What the picture shows

The coat is worked in white and blue beads along the folds, the stethoscope as a black chain hanging over the chest. A white cap with a red cross sits on his head, edged in beads. The blue-green checked trousers are stitched along the lines, and the shoes are red with black soles. Thin stems with green leaves and small flowers — yellow, red and green — curl around the figure. The face, hands and the pale pink-green ground stay as print on the canvas. Of the 8 colours the range is mostly cool with red accents. The coat is worked along the folds so the cloth does not look flat, and it takes most of the white beads. The checked trousers are built from two directions of line and are the most exacting part.
