Description

“Believe in miracles!” builds a unicorn's face out of a flower crown, a horn and a pair of closed eyes. It is the smallest card in the series.

What the picture shows

The design reads from the top down. A golden-yellow horn stands at the top, worked in slanting rows of beads as though it were twisted. Printed ears sit on either side of it, pink and lilac with a white outline. A wreath lies below the horn: a turquoise flower on the left, a large coral-pink one on the right, and white and cream blooms between and around them, all worked as tight coils with a small contrasting centre. The leaves, a pale rose and the fine sprigs are left printed. Two arcs draw the closed eyes with their lashes further down, and “BIRTHDAY WISHES” is printed in coral beneath them. The white ground is not beaded: eight colours go into the horn and the flowers of the wreath.
