Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "Waxbirds"
Description
“Waxbirds” — three waxwings have settled on branches of red berries in the middle of a snowy wood.
What the picture shows
The birds are fluffy and ochre-grey, with a black mask around the beak, a sharp crest and yellow-and-red bars on the wings: one sits higher up, the other two below, turned towards each other. Branches of guelder rose and rowan bend under clusters of red berries dusted with snow. Behind them are a white slope, spruces, a dark band of forest and a grey winter sky; on the left stands a bush covered in blue hoarfrost. Coverage is partial: the birds, berries, branches and the frost on the bush are beaded, while the snow, forest and sky stay printed, so the cold ground does not compete with the warm plumage. The composition runs on a diagonal — the branches travel from the upper left to the lower right, and the birds are placed along that line.
