What the picture shows

At the centre sits a whole watermelon striped in dark and light green, and out of it, as from a vase, rises a bouquet: pink, yellow and pale blue gerberas and asters, white daisies with yellow eyes, lilac and blue blossoms, and long narrow leaves flying out in every direction. In front, on a blue-and-white striped table, lie two slices of watermelon with red flesh and dark seeds, and single flowers are scattered beside them in crimson, white and pink. The background is turquoise with soft washes. The beadwork is partial: you bead the melon, the slices, the flowers and the leaves, while the painted background and the table boards stay as print.
