“True friend” — two curly-haired angels bend over a puppy on a flowering meadow. The picture is gentle, in pastel blue and pink.

What the picture shows

On the left a boy in a pale blue shirt with blue wings leans towards the puppy; on the right a girl in a pink dress with a bow and white wings stands with a golden halo above her head. Between them a sandy-coloured puppy sits and reaches its nose towards an open hand. Blue and pink butterflies flutter around, and a band of green grass with small white and pink flowers runs along the bottom. The background is light, with soft clouds. The beadwork is partial: the clothes, the wings, the halo, the flowering grass and the butterflies are beaded, while the faces, the hair and the puppy remain painted on the canvas.
