«The solar field» is a summer meadow in full bloom: yellow, lilac and white flowers roll in one wave up to the dark edge of the woods.

What the picture shows

There is no single centre here — the eye enters the meadow from below and travels inwards, where the pale grass darkens into a band of trees. Yellow blooms, lilac and violet flower spikes and small white and pink blossoms are scattered across the whole field, with juicy stems and leaves in several shades of green between them. The palette is warm and fresh: lemon, cream, lilac, grass green. The beadwork is partial but very dense: the circles cover almost the entire flowering meadow, while the haze and the line of trees at the top stay printed on the canvas — that is what keeps the depth and the sense of distance.
