Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "The letter of a stranger"

“The letter of a stranger” shows a table by a mirror with a bouquet of wild roses, china and a straw hat left behind after somebody's morning.

What the picture shows

On the left, a painted blue-and-white vase holds a full bouquet of small pink roses and briar with dense green foliage. Beside it are a white ceramic jar, a glass, a cup and saucer in blue pattern, and a little teapot. To the right an open casket lined in pale blue lies on the table, and in front of it a yellow straw hat with a turquoise ribbon and a pink rose. Behind everything a carved mirror reflects another bouquet, of pale peonies. The tablecloth is white, strewn with pink flowers. Beading is partial: the flowers, the china, the hat and the casket are worked in beads, while the reflection in the mirror and the painterly background stay printed on the canvas.
