Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "The Alliance"

“The Alliance” shows a ginger tabby and a white long-haired cat sitting pressed against each other on a park bench.

What the picture shows

The two animals are at the centre: the ginger cat with its eyes closed and its long striped tail curled round its paws, and the white cat resting its head on his shoulder. The bench is built of red-brown planks with scrolled wrought-iron ends. A street lamp with an openwork bracket and a yellow lantern rises on the right. Behind them is a pale watercolour park: slim tree trunks, green crowns, blurred patches of lilac and yellow, and a small bush with orange flowers at the bottom right. The ground is laid with round cobbles in greenish-lilac tones. Both animals face the viewer, and the bench crosses the canvas at an angle from the left edge to the right. The beading is partial: the foliage, the bench, the lamp, the cobbles and the background are beaded, while the cats themselves stay printed on the canvas as a soft watercolour.
