Description

“Tender Morning” is a generous meadow bouquet in a wicker basket on a table covered with a pale cloth. The mood is quiet and fresh, like early light.

What the picture shows

The bouquet is wide and tousled, filling almost the whole canvas. Its base is white daisies with yellow centres, among them many lilac bellflowers hanging on thin stems and small blue blossoms. The greenery is light, with long grass blades scattering in every direction. A dark red wicker basket shows at the bottom, pale folded fabric lies beneath it, and a few daisies rest directly on the table. The background is a soft ochre-green wall without detail. Coverage is partial: beads work the flowers, the stems and the basket, while the background and the tablecloth stay printed on the canvas.
