Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "Straw-coloured flowers"

“Straw-coloured Flowers” — a bouquet in a tall vase on a table, held to a single warm sandy palette. A quiet piece, almost like an old photograph.

What the picture shows

At the centre stands a vase with carved vertical grooves, and out of it rises a full bouquet of large blooms with wide petals and rounded leaves; a few darker buds bend downward. On the right is a low pot of small roses, with a book and a little casket lying between them. The table is covered with a white cloth, below which runs a broad band of foliate ornament with a round medallion at its middle. A window frame is suggested behind. Everything is built on shades of cream, sand, ochre and dark brown. Coverage is dense: beads fill the flowers, the vessels, the table and the ornament, and only the pale wall stays as print on the canvas.
