“Spring Flowers” shows branches of pink blossom in a clay jug, with a bowl of white flowers beside it.

What the picture shows

A tall terracotta jug is filled with flowering branches: small pink and lilac blossoms sit in dense clusters on dark twigs with bright green leaves, and several branches hang down on both sides. In front of the jug stands a low round bowl with large white flowers and yellow centres. The background is warm orange-ochre with a faint pale scroll ornament, and a wooden tabletop runs along the bottom. The beading is partial: beads cover the flowers, the leaves and both vessels, while the background and the soft shadow under the pottery stay printed on the canvas.
