Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "Spotty giraffes"

“Spotty giraffes” shows two giraffes stretching their necks towards each other among butterflies and roses.

What the picture shows

Above, an adult giraffe lowers its head — ochre-yellow and patched, with small horns — an orange butterfly perched on its muzzle. A smaller one reaches up from below, its neck washed in pink and lilac patches as if watercolour had run across paper. Large lacy butterflies flutter all around in blue, turquoise, crimson and violet. Along the bottom the composition turns into a band of flowers: burgundy and pink roses, small meadow blooms, green leaves. The background is white, barely touched with coloured washes. Beading is partial: the giraffes, the butterflies and the flowers are worked in beads, while the white ground with its watercolour blooms stays printed on the canvas.
