Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "Sea road"

“Sea road” — a white terrace full of flowers, with steps leading down to a blue bay where a small sailing boat stands. The picture is light and airy, with the feel of a hot midday.

What the picture shows

The foreground is the stone walls and balustrades of a Mediterranean house, draped with pink bougainvillea, with yellow and red flowers in clay pots. A flagstone path descends to white steps and a gate at the water's edge. Beyond lies a wide sea — turquoise near the shore, deep blue further out — with a silver track of sunlight and a small white sailing boat. Grey-blue mountains stand on the horizon and tall cumulus clouds above them. The beading is partial and very dense: beads fill all the architecture, the path, the flowers and the greenery, while the sea, sky, mountains and sail stay as print on the canvas.
