Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "Sea horse"

“Sea horse” — a golden-orange seahorse among corals and shells on a patchwork of blue and turquoise. The design is decorative, assembled from patterned squares like a small sea panel.

What the picture shows

A large seahorse curves to the right of centre: yellow and orange body, crimson head and crest, tail rolled into a spiral. Beside it are a red coral, a starfish, strings of white pearls running across the canvas like a wave, and several pale blue flower medallions. The ground is made of coloured squares — blue and turquoise above, pink and yellow below — with shells and curling wave motifs. The beadwork is partial: the seahorse, the coral, the starfish, the pearl lines, the medallions and the lower patches are beaded, while the shells and most of the blue ground stay as print on the canvas.
