«Owls are friends» shows two owls perched side by side on a branch among small flowers and butterflies, in the mood of a light children's tale.

What the picture shows

On the left sits a ginger owl in orange and red plumage with a red cap; on the right a turquoise and green one. Both have wide white eyes and round pink cheeks, and their wings and breasts are patterned with flowers like printed fabric. Below them a branch blooms with pink, orange and crimson blossoms, while butterflies and dragonflies circle around. The mint background is covered with a light lace of tiny blue flowers and scrolls.
