What the picture shows

A dark cat with a lilac-pink lit side sits on a branch at the left, and a pale cat with a pink back sits at the right; both are turned towards the moon. The branches are thin and curving, covered with small white and pink blossoms that scatter across the whole canvas. The background is divided into colour zones: blue and violet on the left, crimson and red on the right, orange below, with the white disc of the moon glowing at the centre. The beadwork is partial: the cats, the branches and the blossom are beaded, while the coloured sky and the moon stay as print on the canvas.
