«Let it shine» shows a glass jar of fireflies among tall grasses, with a lettered motto above it framed by leaves and stars.

What the picture shows

A clear jar stands at the centre of the dark teal canvas: its rim is worked in several rows of pale beads, a warm yellow glow and a green sprig sit inside, and round lights are scattered over the glass. Above it the handwritten English words «Let it Shine» are laid in blue beads, with sprigs, arrows and stars on either side. Stems, narrow leaves and a few small flowers in green, yellow and white rise around the jar on both sides, and tiny fireflies hang in the air. The ground is deep blue-green with dark shadows. The beadwork is partial: beads form the jar, the lettering, the plants and the lights, while the dark background stays printed on the canvas — and it is what creates the sense of night.
