Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "Juicy bouquet"

“Juicy bouquet” is a decorative still life: a full bouquet in a wide clay vase against a ground of coloured tiles.

What the picture shows

A deep red vase stands in the middle, patterned with zigzags, triangles and dots outlined in white. Out of it rises a dense bouquet of stylised flowers: pink and blue globe blossoms, yellow star-shaped flowers, lilac clusters and green leaves. A yellow fruit and a few small berries lie at the foot of the vase. The background is decorative too — rectangles and squares of different colours with fine patterning, while large scrolls with flowers and spirals curl along the edges of the canvas. The whole design is built on flat colour, with no modelling of light. Coverage is partial: the bouquet, vase, fruit and the coloured tiles with their scrolls are beaded, while the warm sand-brown ground between them stays as print on the canvas.
