Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "In the arms of an angel"

“In the arms of an angel” is a winter scene in which an angel leans over a snow-covered house and shelters it with his wings.

What the picture shows

At the upper right is the angel's face, fair-haired and with lowered eyes; his hands rest on the roof as if guarding it. The wings are large: one golden-ochre, the other pale and almost transparent with blue shadows. Below stands a two-storey wooden house, warm yellow light in its windows and thick snow on every ledge; around it are snow-laden trees, frosted bushes, a drift and a small figure with a lantern on the path. The palette is cold, blue and lilac, and only the windows and one wing bring warmth. Coverage is partial: the house, snow, trees and wings are beaded, while the dark ground above and the angel's face and hands stay as print on the canvas.
