Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "Geometry of summer"

“Geometry of summer” — sunflowers filling the foreground, white cottages behind them, and a sky ruled across with coloured arcs and strands of beads. The piece is loud in colour, painted in a naive manner.

What the picture shows

A dense summer meadow grows along the bottom: several large sunflowers with dark and green centres, pink and violet blooms beside them, small white florets, cut green leaves and fern. On a rise in the middle stand three white cottages with steep roofs, two pale and one black. The sky is anything but ordinary — divided into broad bands of crimson, orange, turquoise and violet, with long beaded arcs curving across them like garlands. White doves fly through it, and stars and small flowers are scattered about. The fill is partial: beads cover the sunflowers, the flowers, the foliage, the cottages, the garland arcs and the stars, while the painted multicoloured sky and meadow stay printed on the canvas.
