Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "Forest guests"

“Forest guests” is a portrait of a roe deer with large ears looking out of dense greenery, with a small bird perched on a branch nearby.

What the picture shows

The main figure is a young deer, ears pricked and eyes dark; its coat is painted in warm ochre, gold and brown patches with a white patch on the chest. Below and to the right a second animal lies down, almost merging with the background. On the left, a grey-green bird with a yellowish belly sits on a branch of long leaves. Everything is surrounded by green — from fresh lime to deep emerald — with bright yellow openings, as if sunlight were breaking through the foliage. Coverage is partial: the animals, the bird and the leafy branches are beaded, while the painterly green background with its soft washes stays as print on the canvas.
