Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "Flecks of sunlight"

«Flecks of sunlight» is a bunch of daisies on a dark ground pierced by golden light and scattered circles of glare.

What the picture shows

The stems gather into a single bunch at the bottom and fan upwards: seven open daisies and two buds on long green stems with narrow leaves. The petals are worked in white, cream and pale blue beads with pinkish shadows; the centres are dense circles of yellow and orange. Stems and leaves are laid in emerald beads as fine threading lines. The background is dark brown-black, painted with broad golden strokes and a mass of light bubbles, like a photograph shot against the sun. The beadwork is partial: beads cover only the flowers, buds, stems and leaves, while the dark golden ground with its flares stays entirely printed on the canvas.
