Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "Faithfull"

“Faithfull” shows a girl seen from behind and a white horse bending its head towards her — a quiet trust that needs no words.

What the picture shows

On the right are the girl's bare shoulders and back, her hair gathered into a braid; from the left the horse reaches towards her, its pale mane breaking into turquoise and ochre strands. The background is painterly, almost abstract: cool blue and grey flow into warm orange and pink strokes shaped like wings. Below her waist falls a cloth striped in red, blue and gold. The colours are wet and blurred, with runs, the way watercolour behaves on damp paper. Beading is partial: the horse's mane and muzzle, the braid and the outline of the figure, the folds of the cloth and the bursts of colour in the background are worked in beads, while the washes themselves, the horse's face and the girl's shoulders stay printed on the canvas.
