Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "Expectation"

«Expectation» shows an old rotary telephone wreathed in flowers on a pink ground laced with scrolls.

What the picture shows

The set stands at the centre: a turquoise handset on a tall cradle, a pale grey body painted with flowers, and a round dial carrying the beaded greeting «HAPPY BIRTHDAY». The cord winds off to the left like a ribbon. A bouquet of pink and yellow roses with green leaves crowns the telephone, another flowering spray lies at the lower right, and two butterflies rest beside it. The background is pale pink, covered with concentric circles, dots and small blossoms in crimson, turquoise and white. The beadwork is partial: beads form the telephone, the flowers, the butterflies, the lettering and the ring patterns, while the pink field itself stays printed on the canvas.
