Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "Evening in Venice"

“Evening in Venice” shows a canal embankment under a full moon, warm light already burning in the windows of the old houses.

What the picture shows

Venetian houses crowd the left side — turquoise, ochre and terracotta façades with arched windows, green shutters, flowering balconies and ivy on the walls. Steps run straight down to the water below, a café glows under a striped awning, and a few small figures stand nearby. On the right the canal reflects the lights, a line of palaces stretches along the far bank, and boats with tall masts lie at the mooring. The sky is deep blue with clouds and a large silver moon. Beading is dense but partial: the houses, the water, the boats, the trees and the lamps are worked in beads, while the night sky with its moon and clouds stays printed on the canvas.
