Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "Easter Sunday"

“Easter Sunday” is a festive table on an embroidered cloth: a paska with a candle, painted eggs and a branch of pink blossom under a spring sun.

What the picture shows

At the centre stands a tall Easter cake with white icing running down its warm sides and a candle on top; festive letters are set into the icing. Red eggs with white crosses lie around it, together with two more decorated eggs. A branch of pink flowers and young leaves enters from the left; in the top right a yellow sun sends out long rays, with green hills and a blue sky behind. Everything rests on a white towel with red and black embroidery along its edge. The drawing is deliberately simple, almost childlike. The beading is partial: the cake, the eggs, the blossom, the sun and the towel's ornament are beaded, while the sky, the hills and the cloth itself stay printed.
