Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "Easter"

“Easter” — painted eggs and a jug of pussy willow on an embroidered cloth, with a green spring village all around. The mood is festive and homely.

What the picture shows

A terracotta jug girdled with green and yellow ornament stands at the centre, holding a large bunch of willow branches with white, blue and pink catkins. Six painted eggs lie around it, each with its own design: stripes, circles, crosses and dots in red, green and gold. All of it rests on a white cloth with a blue border and a red floral edge. In the background are green hills, white flowering trees and cottages with red roofs. The beading is partial: beads cover the eggs, the jug, the willow, the cloth and its border, while the village landscape with its trees and cottages stays as print on the canvas.
