“Daisy” is a full bouquet of small blossoms in a pale vase by a window.

What the picture shows

The bouquet spreads widely upwards and sideways: small flowers in pale blue, blue, white and yellow-green sit on thin stems and form an airy, transparent crown through which the background shows. The vase is low and pale, with a textured surface. A sheer blue cloth is draped on the table to the left, and a few cut blossoms and leaves lie beside it. The background is light, in grey-blue and pearly tones, with an arched window suggested on the right. The beading is partial: beads cover the flowers, stems and vase, while the wall, window and cloth stay printed on the canvas.
