Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "Crisp cruise"

«Crisp cruise» is a fairy-tale steamer built from hundreds of coloured patterns, sailing calm water under a pale morning sky.

What the picture shows

The vessel fills almost the whole canvas: a tall hull, a great paddle wheel at its centre, superstructures with arches, turrets and funnels, pennants on the masts and round puffs of smoke. Every part is a mosaic — diamonds, circles, zigzags and flower rosettes in crimson, turquoise, lemon, lilac and orange. Below, the ship is reflected in the water as a blurred band of colour, and small islets show on either side. The sky is light, with mint and peach clouds. The beadwork is partial: beads form the steamer, its reflection and the islets, while the sky and the surface of the water stay printed on the canvas.
