Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "City of flowers"

“City of flowers” shows three bouquets in tall vases against a many-coloured little town that climbs the hillside up to the sky.

What the picture shows

Three vases stand side by side at the centre — a pink one, a chequered turquoise one and a deep blue one — with a small painted jug beside them. Autumn blooms spill out: amber marigolds, ochre seed heads, dark burgundy leaves and one large blue flower with a yellow centre. Behind them houses with tiled roofs and round tree crowns rise in tiers, yellow, turquoise and ochre patches blurred as if in watercolour. A cloth with a terracotta and gold pattern anchors the composition below. Beading is partial: the flowers, vases, house walls and the patterned cloth are worked in beads, while the hazy sky, the blue planes at the sides and the watercolour washes stay printed on the canvas.
