Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "Cineraria"

«Cineraria» is a small bunch of purple cinerarias with pale centres on a soft green ground.

What the picture shows

Four large blooms and several smaller ones open at the centre and right: the narrow petals run from pale lilac to deep violet, and every flower has a cream-yellow ring and a turquoise dot at its heart. Below sit dense dark green leaves with clear veining on slender stems. A mottled butterfly in turquoise and crimson rests at the upper left, above a handwritten English motto, «colors are the smiles of nature». A fine beaded border in green and lilac runs around the edge. The beadwork is partial: beads form the flowers, leaves, butterfly and border, while the pale green-blue ground with its faint plant outlines and the lettering stay printed on the canvas.
