Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "By the sea"

«By the sea» shows a tipped-over purple bucket and the shells spilling out of it onto warm sand at the water's edge.

What the picture shows

In the foreground lies a large purple bucket with a pink beaded handle, painted inside with tropical flowers and fish. Shells have tumbled out of it — spiral, fan-shaped, speckled, a pearly one with a white sheen and a striped horn. An orange starfish rests beside them, and stiff green grass pushes up through the sand. Above, a level band of sea meets a pale sky bleached by the sun. The beadwork is partial: beads cover the bucket, the shells, the starfish, the grass and the foreground sand, while the sky, the water and the far shore stay painted — that contrast gives the picture its air and depth.
