Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "Backwater"

“Backwater” — an old house above the water, sunk in greenery, with geese by the doorstep. The mood is warm and evening-lit, with lamps glowing in the windows.

What the picture shows

On the left stands a house with two brick chimneys and a roof lit by the setting sun; yellow light burns in three windows. Around it are dense shrubs, flowering branches in pink and lilac, a wooden fence and, behind it, a bed of red flowers. Two white geese walk up a stone path towards the door. Below lies the still surface of the water with long pale reflections, and a wooden jetty on the right. The far bank dissolves into a pink-peach haze. The beadwork is partial: beads cover the greenery, the flowers, the fence, the roof, the jetty and the highlights on the water, while the house walls, the windows, the geese and the misty horizon stay printed on the canvas.
