Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "August pattern"

“August pattern” is a strictly symmetrical ornament assembled from late-summer garden motifs.

What the picture shows

The design is built as several squares nested one inside another. At the very centre sits a fine grid of coloured diamonds in red, blue and orange. Around it runs a wreath of green leaves and white openwork shapes, then a frame of yellow-gold checks and white fields holding stylised shoots and birds. The outer field is pale blue, scattered symmetrically with pink thistles, orange clusters, green woven knots and small white flowers. The composition reads the same from any side. Coverage is full: beads fill the whole canvas, including the blue ground and the white openings.
