Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "Aroma"

“Aroma” — a painted jug, a glass of wine and fruit scattered across a table. A classic still life with a deep dark background and richly coloured objects.

What the picture shows

At the centre stands a tall ceramic jug with a twisted handle: a white ground, blue floral painting, red and yellow details and an ornamented neck. On the left is a stemmed crystal glass of dark red wine, and beside it a bunch of pale yellow grapes with a leaf. In front of the jug lies a bunch of purple grapes; on the right side of the table sit a peach and a green apple. The table is covered with a pink cloth in a small floral pattern that falls in folds. The background is a plain olive-gold. The beadwork is partial: beads cover the jug, the wine glass, both bunches of grapes, the peach, the apple, the table edge and the patterned cloth, while the dark background and the carved lower edge stay printed on the canvas.
