Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "Apples and grapes"

“Apples and grapes” is a light still life: a bouquet of hydrangeas in a glass jug with fruit on the table beside it.

What the picture shows

The jug holds white and blue hydrangeas, pink carnations and small yellow clusters with fine greenery. It is clear, with a faceted side, and the green stems show through the glass. On the left stand a glass of water and two red-and-yellow apples; on the right there is another yellow apple and a bunch of pale green grapes, with small berries scattered between them. The background is soft greenish beige shading into a warmer tone. Coverage is partial: the flowers, leaves, jug and fruit are worked in beads, while the background and the tabletop stay printed on the canvas. The composition is triangular: the bouquet rises upwards while the fruit is laid out below on both sides of the jug. The colours are cool and pastel — blue, white, pink and green — and the only warm note comes from the apples.
