Description

“Zen choice” shows a golden horseshoe among pink flowers and ribbons.

What the picture shows

The horseshoe is set in two rows of yellow and amber beads and stands at the centre of the piece. Open flowers surround it: pink ones with white petal tips, smaller yellow ones with orange centres, and clusters of green beads between them standing in for leaves. Pink ribbons run out from the posy in every direction, laid as chains of beads, curling into spirals at their ends. The composition is built as a circle: the horseshoe in the middle, the flowers in a dense wreath around it, the ribbons on the outside. The canvas is white and stays clean, because on art canvas the beads are not laid solidly but work over the printed design.
