Description

“Watermelon” shows half a melon and a slice beside it, laid out so that both the striped rind and the juicy flesh are visible.

What the picture shows

The green rind is built from green beads in several shades, the white layer under it from matte ones, while the pink-red flesh stays printed with gold and dark beads scattered over it as pips. The slice below repeats the same palette on a smaller scale. The yellow-green gradient background is not beaded at all: on art canvas the beads carry only outlines and accents. The composition is deliberately simple — two large shapes on a diagonal, with no fussy detail. Matte and glossy beads alternate: the rind shimmers while the pips give small dark specks. That makes the slice look three-dimensional even though only its edge is beaded.
