Description

“Undersea kingdom” shows a smiling dolphin among seaweed and bubbles, with a pink octopus and a red crab waiting on the seabed.

What the picture shows

The dolphin is worked in white and pearl beads over a light grey print, with trails of clear bubbles rising around it. Green seaweed of elongated beads grows from the bottom, a red crab peeps out on the golden sand at the left, and a pink octopus with curling tentacles sits at the right. The deep blue water stays printed: the beading is not solid, it carries the dolphin's outline, the plants, the characters and the scattered sand. Six bead colours keep the palette simple, yet the picture reads clearly from a distance. The composition runs on a diagonal: the dolphin moves from top to bottom while the small creatures line the lower edge, so the eye travels from his snout to the crab and the octopus.
