Description

“Train” shows a smiling cartoon locomotive rolling along the rails with a rainbow arching above it.

What the picture shows

The boiler is beaded in red and yellow, the cab in green, and the tall funnel in black. The wheels have silvery rims of large beads, while the face with its eyes, nose and smile stays printed on the canvas. The sky is pale blue with white clouds, crossed by a rainbow of several coloured bands. Green grass with white and yellow flowers runs along the bottom. The beads go onto objects and accents here; the background is not covered. The colours here are clean and childlike: red, yellow, green, blue. The locomotive is worked in large areas, so the going is fast despite 500 beads. The rainbow is the only place where the colours must follow a strict order; the rest of the design is hard to confuse.
