Description

“Sweet-tooth” shows a grey mouse carrying an enormous ice cream cone with a cherry on top.

What the picture shows

The ice cream fills almost the whole height of the circle: a brown chocolate scoop with dark drizzle on top, a pink scoop with paler swirls below it, and under those a waffle cone in ochre and sand, stitched in a lattice. A red cherry with a thin stalk sits at the very top. Pink drips run down the edge of the cone as single stitches. The mouse stands at the bottom with its paws against the cone: a grey body, pink ears and nose, a long thin tail and a black dot of an eye. Ten colours, 5 m of thread. The white Aida around is left unstitched, which keeps the composition light. It is finished in a round acrylic frame with magnetic tape.
