Description

“Sunflowers and Rainbow” shows three sunflowers by a wooden fence, with a coloured arc bending across the corner of the sky.

What the picture shows

The petals are beaded in yellow and orange as rays from the centre, the discs in brown with a golden rim. Large leaves of green beads cover the lower part of the flowers. The rainbow is laid as an arc of red, yellow, green and blue beads in the upper right corner. The wooden fence with a ladybird on one board, the blue sky and the grass stay printed: the kit has only five bead colours, and all of them went into the flowers and the rainbow. The sunflowers are worked as rays from the centre, and that movement is what makes them look alive. The brown discs are the densest part of the piece. The rainbow is small, yet it brings all the remaining colours of the kit into the yellow-green range.
