Description

“Sleepyhead with red-coloured hair” shows a red fox curled up asleep on a yellow moon.

What the picture shows

The moon is large and round, worked from deep yellow to pale straw with a soft gradient at the edge. The fox lies curled on it: an orange back and tail with reddish shadows, a white belly and tail tip, ears rimmed in dark, a calm face and closed eyes. The background is stitched all over in an even lilac-blue night sky. Two white clouds drift across it, small stars are scattered about, and two larger yellow stars sit near the lower edge. Ten colours, 7 m of thread — the whole field is covered here, so this design uses the most thread in the series. It is finished in a square acrylic frame with magnetic tape.
