Description

“Saint Valentine's Day” shows two pandas inside a large red heart, with a small bouquet of green leaves between them.

What the picture shows

The heart is laid in red beads straight over the pink ground: a double outline with a wide curled loop at the top. Two pandas sit inside — the left one holds a blue flower, the right one peeps out from behind a bouquet of green leaves and small red blooms. Black ears, paws and eye patches are run in dark beads, while the white parts of the muzzles stay printed. Daisies of white and pink beads with golden centres are scattered around the heart, and a small gold crown sits at the top left. The pink ground is not covered: on art canvas the beads are not solid — they carry the heart, the flowers and the pandas themselves. There are about 396 beads here in seven colours, mostly red, white, green and black.
