Description

“Raspberry” shows two raspberries among serrated leaves, with white flowers and yellow stamens beside them.

What the picture shows

The berries are built from individual beads: one red, the other paler, pink-and-white — every drupelet became a separate bead, which makes the surface genuinely bumpy. The leaves are green and serrated with pronounced veins; the flowers are white with yellow-gold stamens at the centre. The green-and-yellow background takes no beads at all — it is printed on the canvas together with the design, which is why there is no chart to follow on a screen. It is the separately set beads that make this raspberry the most textured of the berry designs in the batch. The green leaves take longer than the berries themselves, having many small turns of outline. The white flowers give the light pauses the picture needs.
