Description

In “Mishkin smile” a bear's face is drawn on the coffee crema.

What the picture shows

The face is run in pale cream beads: round ears, the outline of the head, the nose and two little paws peeping up from below. The cheeks are set in pink beads, small pink flowers sit on the ears, and the eyes and nose are marked with amber beads. A ring of dark amber beads encircles the crema, and a wide row of white beads runs around the outer edge of the cup; a blue line at the side marks the handle. Vertical bands of amber and gold beads hold the design on the left and right. A printed strip of coffee beans and a star anise stays along the bottom, untouched by beads, as does the warm brown ground.
