Description

A tall glass under a paper parasol is what “Long Island ice tea” looks like.

What the picture shows

The parasol is beaded as a fan: red, yellow and orange beads run in segments, with a grey-blue row along the edge. To its left a spiral of yellow and white beads curls up — a twist of lemon peel. The glass beneath is tall and dark: the outline is run in dark brown beads, amber closer to the rim, and a small heap of pale blue beads sits at the bottom like ice. A vertical chain of amber flowers runs down the left, and three beaded rings are scattered across the field. The name of the cocktail is printed at the top on two light bands, framed in pearl and dark beads. The beige ground is left unbeaded.
