Description

“Kharkiv's coat of arms” shows a green shield with a cornucopia and a staff, and an inscription below.

What the picture shows

The outline of the shield is run in yellow beads all the way round, including the shaped point at the bottom. The cornucopia is set in yellow and golden beads in transverse rows, spilling fruit: violet clusters, red and orange berries, cream and green beads. A staff lies diagonally across the horn, laid in white beads, with a small pennant at the top. The word “ХАРКІВ” is set in white beads beneath it, each letter built from separate beads. The green field of the shield stays printed: the beads do not fill the ground here but work over the figures and the outline. That makes the arms look like an inlay standing proud of the canvas.
